New Delhi: An earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale and with an epicenter in Nepal shook parts of north India, including capital Delhi and its suburbs on Monday evening.
Early reports from Noida and parts of Delhi said the quake was rather strong and furniture shook in buildings.
India's earthquake monitoring network said the quake took place at 5.01 pm and the depth of the quake was 10 km.
